2019 New Years Day Hike

We invite all scouts and families to join us for our 30th annual New Year’s Day hike. This year we will hike approximately 5 miles on the rugged single-track trails of Swope Park. Meet at 8:30 at the Legacy Center parking lot. We’ll depart at 8:45 for the trailhead located at the parking area on Oldham Road at the gate entering Lake of the Woods Camp (Oakwood Drive).
We’ll begin hiking at 9:00am and will follow the rocky trails through woods and limestone bluffs. We will return to the St. Peter’s Garden Room by 12:00 to share a hearty bowl of Cottrell & Huggins Chili for lunch. Lunch is $5 per person.
