Spring Backpacking Trip at Perry Lake 2022

$20Early Saturday morning Feb 26th to Sunday afternoon Feb 27th Backpacking!
Troop 118 is planning to backpack the east shore of lake Perry at the end of February. We will be hiking as crews (usually 8 to 12 individuals).
Attention! Our annual backpacking camp out is Saturday and Sunday February 26-27. We will leave at 8:00 AM Saturday and return Sunday at noon. Backpacking through beautiful Lake Perry to hone our high adventure skills. All our welcome. Older scouts, especially those going to Philmont, are encouraged to bring a full size pack and carry everything they need. First and Second year Scouts plan on bringing a day pack to carry lunch, snacks, water, and rain gear.

Third year and older scouts should plan to carry all of their gear but younger scouts will only carry what is appropriate for their size, age and backpack. A day pack to carry lunch, water and rain gear and a sturdy pair of walking shoes or boots is all that is needed. All remaining gear, extra blankets, food and water will be stored in the troop trailer and deposited at our camping spot.
